Last week I pulled out all my watercolor supplies and really got down to business with painting something new. These were the two complicated ones that I really loved. They will be framed and hung up somewhere in the house very soon. The colors are hazy and stormy, with a new twist to a familiar story. These paintings also got me thinking about why I paint trees…which is definitely an essay post for another time.
